Ingredients

  1. 1 cup Noble Mills Short Grain Parboiled Rice

  2. Microwave/Stovetop/Electric Rice Cooker

  3. Rice Dish

  4. 1 1/2 cups water

  5. 1 tablespoon ghee or vegetable oil

  6. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  7. 1/4 cup golden raisins

Stovetop

  1. Rinse the rice thoroughly to remove any excess starch.

  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed rice with 1.5 cups of water for every cup of rice.

  3. Bring the mixture to a rolling boil.

  4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water has been absorbed.

  5. Let the rice sit covered for 5 minutes to allow the flavours to meld.
